Antique 101: History of the Vintage Tiara Honey Bee Candy Dish

At Cultivated Candle Co., we’ve now found 11 out of the 29 different color variations, and we’re always on the hunt for more! Our Tiara Honey Bee Candy Dish finds have been at antique malls and through online antiquing, but back in the 1970s-1990s the dishes were originally purchased at home parties that people would host for families and friends on behalf of Indiana Glass Company.

One unique variation produced only in 1970 has splayed feet (as seen in the video!), which was a remake of the original style produced in the early 1900s. With so much rich history and the naturalist theme, these pieces perfectly emulate a summer filled with nostalgia. The candy dish continues to be a highly collectible item!
